This performance about easy and obvious values: chaste feelings, pure relations, about explicit but timid belief in happiness. Life evening of two elderly people is full of hope and tenderness, filled not only with sadness, but with belief, dream and love… That is why the story of a man and a woman – of five evenings, parting, war and new meeting – remains the story out of space and time, understandable and allied for the people of different age. The famous “Volodin’s intonation” is necessary in a theatre now, and it comes to us together with one of his amazing plays to make our life a little bit more good.
