The play by E. Scribe in this direction can be considered to be a comedy only partly, because much in this story is dramatically. “A Glass of Water” is a parable about hard choice between conscience, honor, dictate of a heart and political profit, when fates of states and life of thousands people are depend on the play of passions and whims of the high and mighty, but pure trifle – a glass of water decides all. The performance captivates by enthralling intrigue and lambent humor, stylish dresses, beautiful music and, of cause, by resplendent performance of actors.
