The action of “The Holly Terrors” runs at the cross of theatrical lives. Denudative soffit lights remove the luster of banality from the story told by this well-known French playwright.
The idyll of a theatrical family duet is cut by sharp angles of a love triangle. It is as old as the world is. Cocteau, as a great experimenter and aesthete, wanted to tell, however, about some other things. The point is an incredible, cruel, and saint world of theatre.
