A great comedian J.-B. Moliere, who was an actor, made his amusing and touching, inventive Scapin a real Actor. A temperamental Play-Actor plays Life devotedly, with ravishment, and transforms it by means of art. By the end, a tragic note penetrates into the faerie theatrical holiday: a common favorite Scapin appears to be a castaway person. However, like a real Actor, he is still committed himself in his majestic loneliness.
